Bears at the Chilkoot State Park

Known for it's natural beauty and abundant wildlife you will be well rewarded as your ever watchful guide keeps an eye out for wildlife hiding in the forest along the road. High above you will be treated to Bald Eagles soaring gracefully on the wind. The Chilkat Valley has the largest bald eagle population in the world and you will have an opportunity to view these majestic birds as they interact with their natural environment.

On arrival in Klukwan you get a first hand view of famous Tlingit Tribal houses. The village of Klukwan wants to share this rich history with you and your family. 

Original Tlingit family members will tell you of their past and present history. They will share their stories which have been passed on through generations.
